¿Caer en la misma piedra?

Tropezar con la misma piedra por segunda vez es de humanos. Pero ver la piedra venir, y dirigirse hacia ella pensando que eres capaz de esquivarla, y volver a tropezar, es de ser gilipollas. Si has tenido problemas con esa piedra en el pasado, no pretendas que por arte de magia ahora seas inmune a ella. No es una manera de demostrar que lo tienes superado. Es todo lo contrario. Estás castigándote a ti mismo por volver a tropezar y decirte '¿Ves? Lo has vuelto a hacer mal. Eres gilipollas.' ¿De qué te sirve castigarte así? Estás anteponiendo tu orgullo a tu amor propio. Eso es lo peor que puedes hacer. Si has fracasado en algo, si has tocado fondo, es completamente normal, eres humano. No busques ser perfecto, tienes que comenzar a asimilar que no lo eres. I'M VEGAN

Hoy he llegado a algún límite, creo. No me puedo creer que se me esté juzgando de manera tan cruda por tener compasión. Por tratar a otros que se asemejan a mi más de lo que se nos ha enseñado como iguales. Es que no llego a comprender qué mal hago a nadie por no comer animales. Ni cómo es posible que lo radical sea no hacerlo, no comer animales, en lugar de lo contrario. Sobre todo cuando la ciencia y la evolución han demostrado que es totalmente innecesario. La compasión, esa cualidad de la que tanto presumimos como humana, es burlada hasta la saciedad por el miedo a enfrentarnos a una realidad que en el fondo sabemos que existe. Cada vez que hablo del sufrimiento animal, o comento la realidad sobre la industria alimentaria, recibo muchos comentarios del tipo "ay no, no me lo cuentes, no quiero saberlo"; mientras disfrutan del saturado sabor del bacon, o del queso. Arisen or created?

I've been thinking about love. But what is love? Just talking about romantic love, I'll deal with the other kinds on a different chapter. But freaking romantic love, what the hell is that? I mean, is it just a transitory sensation in your body that keeps your attention like 24 hours a day and gets you happy and chilly but not because of that other person but because of what you're feeling about them? Isn't loving such a greater feeling than being loved? But that's, again, another story. What the hell is love, indeed? Is it that feeling you get that makes you wanna share all your good moments and experiences with another person? that thing that makes you wanna plan everything depending on them? Is it that feeling of wanting someone till the point of blaming them for your happiness?
