We can change the world

I'm inspired. 
I'm inspired because I'm seeing hope. 
And I'm seeing it from people admired by thousands, millions of other people that will hopefully get also inspired by them.

I'm inspired because we are, little by little, leading to a change, the most important one, and that is how the collective human being perceives itself. 

For thousands of years we have condemned people for the choices they have made in certain moments of their lives, we've put them in categories that would chain them forever to a personality or tendencies they no longer believe in.

 "People don't change", we used to say. And we said it to justify saying and doing horrible things to the, just because they belonged somewhere or did something some people might be against.

But hey, people change, yes they do. Our bodies are change, our lives are change, and so do our minds.
 And it is OKAY to think or feel something for a while, and it is OKAY if that eventually fades away. 
We do not have to stick to the things we once believed in, nor hate all of the previous things we belonged to just because it's a different story now.
 It is okay to redeem, to rectify, to recreate. It is okay because we choose what we want to be, because in a large scale we have free will and we don't have to stick to stereotypes, we can change how things are supposed to be, we can question the curse of events if it's in our hands.


We can THINK for ourselves and start differentiating between NORMAL and RIGHT. 

We can change the world and quit all of those things we no longer belong to. 
We can change the world to whatever we want it to be, cause that's all we have been doing for centuries. 

But this time it's different, this time we can ALL actually THINK, we've seen enough history to do so. We can choose to lead the place to a SAFE, LOGICAL, MORAL, FAIR, PEACEFUL, HEALTHY place, we are powerful enough to do so. 

We can change the world. 
And you, reading this, are just as responsible as the rest of us. It's your choice to lead the way or let yourself go. 

WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

I'M VEGAN

Hoy he llegado a algún límite, creo. No me puedo creer que se me esté juzgando de manera tan cruda por tener compasión. Por tratar a otros que se asemejan a mi más de lo que se nos ha enseñado como iguales. Es que no llego a comprender qué mal hago a nadie por no comer animales. Ni cómo es posible que lo radical sea no hacerlo, no comer animales, en lugar de lo contrario. Sobre todo cuando la ciencia y la evolución han demostrado que es totalmente innecesario. La compasión, esa cualidad de la que tanto presumimos como humana, es burlada hasta la saciedad por el miedo a enfrentarnos a una realidad que en el fondo sabemos que existe. Cada vez que hablo del sufrimiento animal, o comento la realidad sobre la industria alimentaria, recibo muchos comentarios del tipo "ay no, no me lo cuentes, no quiero saberlo"; mientras disfrutan del saturado sabor del bacon, o del queso. Time passes by faster than we think... And during that time, we meet people we never see again, people we sometimes talk to and then there's these other people. That people you can count on, that people that understand you and accepts you just the way you are. Those you can have and incredible time with, those who won't let you down. Just four months are enough to realize that those little treasures will be there for a long long time, despite you already have to say goodbye. Goodbye and see you soon in my life, when you think of me, or when I think of you, when you visit me and I visit you. When we all meet up together and laugh hard till we cry once more. Goodbye and thank you for all those good memories that make you so important and special. In life you meet people you can never forget. And you don't let them be just a memory, because you want them to stay. You want to stay.
